ABOUT

Bundy Mulch & Chip and our team of qualified arborists have been servicing Bundaberg and its surrounds since 1995. Our family business was started, and continues to this day, as a father-and-son-team. Terry and Jamieson have decades of experience in all forms of tree services and over 40 years of combined experience and have been operating locally for 23 years.

Thanks to their hard work and dedication, these two Bundaberg locals have grown the business to include a huge fleet of machinery and speciality equipment:

  • BC 1000XL wood chipper
  • BC 1500 wood chipper with winch
  • Stump grinder
  • 15m cherry picker
  • Skid steer Bobcat
  • Tip trucks (12m³ & 5m³)

Over the years, we've built a strong reputation for quality workmanship, friendly, honest customer service and highly competitive prices. Not only can our tree experts remove, shape and trim your trees, we also recycle all the green waste into useful mulch and firewood.

Whenever possible, we also give back to the local community in any way we can. Our tree removal services were put to good use in the aftermath of Cyclone Marcia in 2015, where we worked alongside the Army to clear the streets and a number of properties.

Feel free to give us a call to organise a free tree assessment. We're available 7 days by appointment.

FAQ

  • Can you give me a quote over the phone?

For mulch and firewood sales we will happily provide a price over the phone. However, if it's for tree lopping, we need to see your property and examine the tree to give an accurate quote.

  • Are you available for emergency storm clean-up?

Yes, we are available 24/7 in an emergency. Our crew can be called in to assess the damage and clear away fallen branches or trees, so that you and your family are safe. Please don't try to move them yourself as there may be fallen powerlines.

  • Can I prune my neighbour's tree if it's overhanging into my property?

We don't recommend taking any action on a neighbour's tree without speaking to them first. If you cannot reach a resolution or agreement, you can speak to your local council and make a complaint.

  • What do you do with the branches and other waste?

Any large, healthy sections of timber get cut up and resold as seasoned firewood. Smaller branches, leaves and other green waste is fed into our wood chippers to become nutritious mulch.

  • Can you remove council trees?

Our arborists cannot legally remove any tree owned by the council or state government. However, you can lodge a request with your council to have it removed if you believe it is hazardous or diseased.
